@boypantat: Hi Boy, Greetings! Dandansoy is a HILIGAYNON / ILONGGO SONG, although a lot of Visayan songs were also translated into or were being replaced with Samareno or Leyteno lyrics, but this one is really Payao and not payag. I am Cebuano and I recorded a lot of Cebuano songs like "Kamingaw Sa Payag" by Minggoy Lopez, and I sing this song too even today, and the Payao being mentioned here is not the nipa hut (payag) in Cebu but a place somewhere in Negros... GOD BLESS THE PHILIPPINES!

Baw nadumdoman ko sang gamay pa ko. Amo gid ni permi ang kanta nga ginakanta sang nanay ko kon mag-ili-ili sa maghod ko sa duyan. sa totoo lng yung PAYAO ay isang brgy. sa amin dito s NEGROS OCCIDENTAL sa municipality ng BINALBAGAN sa southern part ng negros occ. tama dyan c JCORBIDA
at ang lyrics nya ay isinulat s hiligaynon ang native dialect ng mga NEGRENSE...
