I am also using Vista but i wish i had XP sp2 much better for handling games

Windows 7 and no problems with me... Try install the gameguard fix? Check google. Or is your client corrupt maybe? I don't think it is gameguard/aion as I don't have any problems but it could be your drivers or something is corrupt.
