  • I know Jo is in the right state of mind, the dad does desperately need to stop drinking for the sake of his family. But it's obvious that her expertise is with children and not with addiction, because anyone familiar with addicts knows that the resolve to quit has to come from a true want to quit for the addict themselves, not for any other person, even kids or wife. It just doesn't work unless they want to quit for themselves.

  • I know its horrible that the dad is an alcoholic, but I feel soooo bad for him. He seems like such a good guy and it sucks that something like alcohol had to get it's hands on him. =\

  • @pianoluvr100 Not only is he paying for his family and the huge house, but he's also supporting his alcohol addiction. That's expensive, too! =\

  • @pianoluvr100 Idk I was surprised too, but I have a friend whose dad is a truck driver and they have a lot of money from it. I think it depends on who he works with and how much, etc.

  • Its not the kids that supper nanny has to fix its the parents.

  • Ok so that dad's a truck driver?.. And he can afford 10 kids and a HUGE house? I didn't know that got paid that much! o.o

  • I can't believe these three oldest kids here aren't completely rebellious and complete terrors. I bet they are going to be fantastic parents someday because even being so young they stuck by their family, maybe not for their parents but for the better of their younger siblings. I have so much respect for these kids.

  • it's heartbreaking when they speak about supernanny.. oh my god :(

  • @smellyfishyvag

I hear you..... Mom can still have her dream. Someone just needs to point out to her that '10' is the universal number now & she has accomplished that! My prayers go out to this family & I wish Dad well on his road to 'recovery'.........

  • ok im lost? wasnt the Dad a truck driver for days at a time or did i get this mixed up with sumthin else i was watching???
