I'm sitting in a room, for tape (1969)

note: I've decided to put this piece in this channel, even if Lucier is not a minimalist composer nor this is strictly a minimalist piece, because it's a wonderful example of "process music" (which is indeed also called sometimes "minimalist"), music that I love and which is very much in relationship with Reich's music.

This was a interesting piece, I didn't quite know his entire story behind it. He reads the paragraph once and records it. Then he plays the recording and records it. He repeats this process 30 times until complete distortion.
