What's interesting is that hours before her appearance at the Golden Globe Awards her publicist announced she had split with her husband, Art Director Clyde Klotz. In a show of support, David Duchovny accompanied her to the Globes that evening where she won Best Actress, he won Best Actor, and The X-Files won Best Drama. Coolness!

Well she does wait in the wings on the stage when Duchovny wins Best Actor statue immediately after her win.

@iheartxfiles This is just my opinion of course, but it looked to me like she was turning around overwhelmed with emotion because David had just called her "the best co-star anyone could ask for". I think their relationship was so close that she wouldn't have to be worried about the fact that she forgot to thank him.

Her head seemed to be in the clouds there. Kinda bitchy and full of herself ( heh ).

I hate this dress. It was just too plain and blended with her skin. Just didn't look good with her little breasts somehow. Lyle, I didn't know that. Her mind must have been all over the place so no wonder she forgot to mention David in front of the royality of Hollywood. I don't know how she thinks but I do believe she was ashambed to having not acknoledged David. According to other interviews I've seen, he was patient with her inexperiance and tried to help her out. A big brother.

Well, she did forget to mention him... but when David mentioned her in his speech you could see that she realized she forgot to mention him. You should watch the video. I think it's pretty sweet :)

Yeah, I'd imagine your mind goes blank and you forget all the important stuff but then you remember it all by the time you get off the stage lol

Yea, I love that they went together, it was such a sweet thing for David to do..

I'd say it's really easy to forget people when you're up on that stage in the moment, I'm sure she meant to thank him, I bet she said it to him afterwards :D

Ah, I'd read that there had been an argument between her and David Duchovny before they went in over their salaries or contracts which is why she didn't mention him in her speech.

But yeah, thats so sweet he did that!
