  • @aaroncurley Thanx for the info. I never expected Uigurs to use the Arabic alphabet.

  • as you see in other places in central asia, their are arabic calligraphy embedded in every mosque which is a prove that cental asians used arabic but most of this places uses either latin(uzbeks) or cyrillic(kazakh and tajiks) because of USSR. But Uyghurs presserved their culture and usage of arabic letters.
