@Catalina031 Thanks for the Speedy reply : ) I have no idea why I forgot to look in the down bar. Ughh!
On the positive side my horizontal ridges are not shaded. They are horizontal groves the same shade as my nail. Just to be on the safe side, I will bring it to my Doctors attention next month. Can't hurt I guess.
Thanks Again : )

@AkForgetMeNot65 That is one of many nice things about sharing-we know we are not alone in our beauty struggles :) What I have been doing has helped soo much! ~hugs

You're not alone with the bad nails...I too inherited my nails problems. I used to have really pretty nails. But as I've gotten older the ridges on my nails have become horrible, and a few of them are so bad that they split on the ridge sometimes up into the quick and yes ma'am it hurts like nobodies business! I do keep them trimmed down and painted. Thank you for sharing this it's nice to know I'm not alone! Hugs have a happy halloween weekend. xxxx

@scarletfire28 Thank you love :) That is what I adore about sharing! We have so many problems in common just no one knows because no one talks about it. My nails look soo much better since I have actually found a way to take care of them. The tips stuff is seriously overpriced and nothing special! xoxo jan
Thank you for taking the time to share your nail problem. i have gone to my doctor and dermatologist; they have not taken my problem seriously. My nails are worst than ever. ridges and the tips keeping breaking and getting thinner and thinner. i will try the jojoba oil and the vit E. i hope this treatment will help. Any idea what causes this nail problem?

@29addison Vertical ridges are pretty much just genes or age or both-Do everything you can to keep them out of water and chemicals. I try to keep polish on mine-just a clear coat during the day and remove it before bed-apply the oil and then when I get up the next morning slap on a clear coat-and repeat LOL I know it is a pain but the only thing that helped me actually grow out my nails. Thanks so much for watching :)

I thankfully inherited very pretty nails BUT... my whole family has full beautiful long nails. I only have short nails, they stay pretty, clear, and ridge-free but for some reason they just don't grow after a certain length >:(

@carissa642 Oh sweetie you are just a young thing! Ridges like mine are usually from both genetics and getting older. I really am at a loss why your nails would not continue to grow but sounds like they are quite lovely anyway! Do use a nice oil like jojoba, borage or vitamin e and massage your cuticles well and see if it helps. Thank you for stopping by :) ~hugs jan

Hi..Newbie here,,Thanks for the invite : )
Great Video!!! I too have all the nail issues you mentioned. I also wanted to ask what specifically horizontal ridges indicate. I have googled "Horizontal Ridges", but still searching.
( I have been having health issues that have yet to be diagnosed...this info might be helpful)
By the way..I have to assume MOST of the PERFECT nails on Youtube are FAKE. Which is fine, but I still would like to achieve the Best I can with what I have : )
