From the Shop to the Track

This video was made for a class project in 2007. It gives a glimpse into the racing world in terms of the driver, car, and race.

My father and I built the car; I raced it for the first season, finishing in 2nd place overall in the Douglas County Speedway Modified championship, and was also awarded rookie of the year.

My father has been racing stock cars since he was a teenager. He took a break while my brothers and I got into racing, and after my first season in this car, he raced it in a limited schedule the following year as I began to dabble in Karts (see other videos).
