DR. ZAKIR NAIK - PRESIDENT, IRF

A medical doctor by professional training, Dr. Zakir Naik is renowed as a dynamic international orator on Islam and Comparative Religion. Sheikh Ahmed Deedat, the world famous orator on Islam and Comparative Religion, who had called Dr. Zakir, "Deedat plus" in 1994, presented a plaque in May 2000 awarded to Dr. Zakir Abdul-Karim Naik for his achievement in the field of Dawah and the study of Comparative Religion with the engraving "Son what you have done in 4 years had taken me 40 years to accomplish, Alhamdullilah.

Alhamdulillah, I am a muslim woman, and I dont feel opressed in this religion at all!

I think that all you people who comment on the rights that women have in islam, should do your own research and not just believe what the media has to say about it.

Islam is the only religion of all the prophets

Or do ye say that Abraham, Isma'il Isaac, Jacob and the Tribes were Jews or Christians? Say: Do ye know better than Allah. Ah! who is more unjust than those who conceal the testimony they have from Allah. but Allah is not unmindful of what ye do! (2:140)

For divorced women Maintenance (should be provided) on a reasonable (scale). This is a duty on the righteous. (2:241)

now let's see what bible says about women

"The woman he (the high priest) marries must be a virgin. He must not marry a widow, a divorced woman, or a woman defiled by prostitution, but only a virgin from his own people, so he will not defile his offspring among his people" (Lev. 21:13-15)

Allah says

Those who slander chaste women, indiscreet but believing, are cursed in this life and in the Hereafter: for them is a grievous Penalty,-(24:23)

Those of you who die and leave widows should bequeath for their widows a year's maintenance and residence; but if they leave (The residence), there is no blame on you for what they do with themselves, provided it is reasonable. And Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise. (2:240)

So I don't know what you are saying. Furthermore Allah says

"O prophet, tell your wives, your daughters, and the wives of the believers that they shall LENGTHEN their garments. Thus, they will be recognized and avoid being insulted. God is Forgiver, Most Merciful." 33:59

insulted by whom??????? Men. Is this oppression??Allah knows He has made men weak in controlling sexual desires as proved by biological science

I just can't understand it. Men want women to reveal more and more don't they coz of lust. Islam forbids that pleasure. Allah says

Tell the believing men that they must lower their gazes and guard their private parts; it is more decent for them. Surely Allah is All-Aware of what they do.(24:30)

Then He says ""And tell the believing women to subdue their eyes, and maintain their chastity. They shall not reveal any parts of their bodies, except that which is necessary.

& it says

" Those who follow the apostle, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own (scriptures),- in the law and the Gospel;- for he commands them what is just and forbids them what is evil; he allows them as lawful what is good (and pure) and prohibits them from what is bad (and impure); He releases them from their heavy burdens. 7:157

anyone who believes that Quran is the word of God, should be a muslim. Because Quran undoubtedly says

""Say, We believe in Allah, and the revelation given to us, and to Abraham, Isma'il, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and that given to Moses and Jesus, and that given to (all) prophets from their Lord: We make no difference between one and another of them: And we bow to Allah (in Islam)."(2:136)

wowww, and furthermore Allah says

"And thou was not (able) to recite a Book before this (Book came), nor art thou (able) to transcribe it with thy right hand: in that case, indeed, would the talkers of vanities have doubted."  [Al-Qur’an 29:48]

Indeed Allah chose Prophet Muhammad(pbuh), illiterate (ummi) to shun all the doubts to dust.

Quran is the book that's got all the answers to the unbelievers questions. Its amazing. like they say Quran was written by Muhammad (pbuh) himself and he learned it from christian goldsmith. Allah's reply

"We know indeed that they say, ‘It is a man that teaches him,’ The tongue of him they wickedly point to is notably foreign, while this is Arabic, pure and clear." [Al-Qur’an 16:103]

@sanasaeed007 Woman have the right to cover her head or not cover her head she has the right to do whatever she wants and whenever she wants in the western world woman and man are born free to do whatever they like dress how ever they like. a person does not become holy or realise God by all covered up IN Gods eye A man and Woman are = including everything else. dr.
