I hope he will end up in a good place like Funny Cide and Perfict Drift. I dunno if they have buy back clauses for geldings.

I'm really worried about Mine that Bird when his racing career is over. He's a gelding -- no stud value. ;(

It's incredible how Mine That Bird came from behind again - bringing such incredible speed at the end. Had this race gone a few more furlongs, it would have been the contest of a lifetime to see.
I loved it when the announcer said, "and the filly did it!" So thrilled to see her run with the boys and take the win. What a horse.

idk, i just used my camera and then put into Windows Movie Maker, saved it to my computer, and then uploaded it to youtube.

Beautiful.
Lets hope that none of these horses end up being tortured in a Japanese Slaughterhouse as the great Ferdinand did- once they are done making big bucks for the owners. I figure if a horse makes a couple hundred k for the owner- as most average race horses do - they deserve a gentle retirement or retraining as a show horse.

yeah, I know. I'm totally against horse slaughter. I think its awful how we have to kill OUR HORSES for the other people in other countries. :'( It's soooo AWFUL!!!!
