The brothers and sisters at the Centre have been working very hard to raise the funds that were needed for the purchase of the building in the recent months. In total over £160,000.00 was raised within a short space of time. However most of the money was raised through Qard Hasana (goodly loan), this was the only way such a large amount could be raised within the short space of time we had. Therefore there remains the urgent need to raise further funds to repay the people who are owed money. Most of the money received through Qard Hasana was agreed at the time to be paid back within one year. Dear Brothers and Sisters, we do not have one year at our hands anymore and we are swiftly approaching to the agreed date. Our project remains incomplete if these loans aren't paid back on time and the burden of debt is not removed from the Centre. We urge you to donate to this cause and help free HIRC from debt.
