I'm no expert on steam locomotives but does the big load put any harmful stress on the locomotive such as in a car or truck or is it completely different and no matter the weight, if it pulls it pulls. Also does wheel slip impact the drive train in a negative way?

@camaroracer454 It is but thats why the diesel is there! But the 425 sure can pull tho!

Very impressive restart with train plus 2 dead diesels for a locomotive of that size - a sure hand on the throttle....
