425 made a special trip to Jim thorpe. At New Ringgold the crew discovered a stuck break shoe on the 425's AUX tender. After they got that under-control, it was a smooth trip to Jim Thorpe, arriving 15 min early.

I'm no expert on steam locomotives but does the big load put any harmful stress on the locomotive such as in a car or truck or is it completely different and no matter the weight, if it pulls it pulls. Also does wheel slip impact the drive train in a negative way?
