  • I'm confused... if you can put it back on, why couldn't you take it off with the same method, just too tight?

  • @donolie21 yeah it was on there too tight and in a hard to reach location

  • I think I'm going to try this tomorrow. Stupid Dodge tie rods!

    Thanks for posting!

  • @careful34 I hope it works for you like it did for me just be careful not to get the ram to hot and burn a seal out

  • Autozone only has a one size wrench and it did'nt fit the tierod on my vehicle but i used this method and it worked....Thanks..

  • @baddtxchevy Glad I could help

  • I rented a tool from autozone, and it didn't fit, so I just used my pipe wrench and hammer to knock it loose.

  • I thought a simple pipe wrench should be able to remove the inner tie-rod instead of using the special crowfoot wrench. Has anyone tried successfully to remove an inner tie-rod using a pipe wrench or is it just a theory that I was told?

  • You could have double nutted it too.

That was a great idea though.

  • you look drunk...lol.... are you?
