I've never met a landlord I didn't hate. They are all scum and their only concern is their bank balance. It's hard to believe we still use the lord/peasant social model after all these years. Basic housing is a right, not a privilege or a luxury.

The Germans get screwed the same as everyone else No wonder Germany can't win any medals at the Olympics. The country is going downhill the same as the US. The same happened in Baltimore. Rents go up and working people get marginalized. Greedy landlords is the problem.

What are you talking about? There is no "one nation American dream" in the USA either!!

Only in the swimming. If you take the 30 US swimming medals out of the equation altogether then the UK has won more medals and the UK has only 60 million people compared to the US 310 million. The good old days of Ed Moses and Carl Lewis are long gone. Reagan saw to that.

The less German language immigrants speak the easier it is to exploit them which means bigger profits for employers. Why would the German government help assimilate the Turks when it would only enable the Turks to answer back and fight fairly for their rights and proper pay. If you can't speak the language you will be easy to exploit. Who do you think does all the dirty work in Germany? The Germans have a servant's class. There is no one nation American Dream like in the USA.

Because people are hostile to immigrants and then immigrants find themselves in no man's land. Alienation by the indigenous population leads to immigrants being marginalized. They get trapped. Most immigrants are refuseniks in their own country of origin. This applies to the Turks and Jugos. If you ever lived under a dictatorship you would want to leave and living in Germany is a compromise. There is no official program to assimilate immigrants.

Germany always punched above it's weight for a small nation but now it is good at coming second. Likewise, the US is now second to China and Russia has fallen off a cliff.

I don't think that connection is there. America's economy is bad, and they're doing terrific at the Olympics.

Like I said: If I own something, I will sell it or let it at any price I damn well please. Don't like the price, don't buy it. If no one buys it, I'll probably re-think my price.
Make sense?

If poor people are forced to move then they will not have money to get to work, they will be homeless. If democracy matters, then all people should have a say in their own lives, that includes poor tenants too.
