@TerrorScorpion the writers failed them. Athrun is the worst character in the entirety of destiny though. Plus Kira was a bland, no development at all.

@TerrorScorpion You just don't change the main character mid way through a gundam series. You have to stick with him until the end.

@darksword101 Welp, it's just my opinion when I say he's annoying. I don't know how I would feel if my family was killed in a war indeed, you're right on that point, but I get the feeling I would not be like him. And still watching him pisses me off... I agree Luna is a bad character, but I find her less annoying than shinn, then again SEED DESTINY was a piece of crap compared to other Gundam series imo.

@TerrorScorpion So your family was killed in a war? Mine has not been killed in a war so I can't judge. If your family was killed in a war then you can judge all you want. Especially if they all died at the same time like Shinn's. Besides lunamaria wasn't that much better off in SEED either with her character portration, Hell she may have been worse than shinn especially after her sister's presumed death.

@darksword101 What? You gonna keep crying for the rest of your life cuz you lost your family? I do love my family too, but seriously, he makes everything that happens an excuse to cry, well, Kira was a cry-baby in the prior series as well, so... meh. Also, I don't like Shinn's personality and his voice actor, tho I respect how skilled he is at piloting.
