Good question. What the "fake Chinese" characters say is "Jeff Goldblum" who was to be the original guest. The prop man went to a Chinese restaurant for the translation and tried his darned best to copy the calligraphy. They eventually got Tom Hanks.

He is a comic genius. It's a shame with geniuses, that they are so good at what they do, we take them for granted.
