  • Awwwh.. I would love one of these.. :'(

  • @CodyBrookhart Yeah from the sounds of it he think he's close to fixing it.

  • @stoneagegamer Hopefully he'll iron out the compatibility issues with 6103 when using a 6105 CIC, as this issue isn't there in the 64drive.

  • @CodyBrookhart You do not offend me. I just don't like 64drive fanboys (not saying you are one) coming on my channel and spouting false information.

I do agree with you. Sex-appeal is only a bonus, but there are more important things. I think with ED64 v2 coming out and some of the new firmware improvements that should be coming soon these will be two very comparable products in almost every aspect.

    Thank you for your post.

  • @CodyBrookhart KRIKzz just released a second revision of ED64 as well that fixes basically all of its short comings compared to the 64drive. I have nothing against 64drive. Marshall does good work and I am sure its a great product. As for board quality, I am unsure how that's true. It has more layers, sure, but that doesn't mean better quality. Maybe if you compare to ED64 early prototype boards that used nickel instead of gold, however the current boards are very good quality.

  • @stoneagegamer Not trying to offend anyone or anything, but the 64drive is better in terms of PCB quality as of the second revision. As far as I know, only the original testers for the 64drive had the first revision, and marshall ended up sending them the second revision.

The Deluxe ED64 does come with better packaging, and the 8GB SD card is nice, but looking pretty is nothing when it comes down to what really counts.

  • @eklipsegirl Wow you can't get any facts right. Deluxe is $175. $25 cheaper and comes with more. Your fanboy(girl?)ism is shining through. How about you you go play your 64drive and stop trolling YouTube.

  • @stoneagegamer affordable? O RLY? yes, you can spare 20 bucks on Everdrive and it still is $180 because other than Deluxe edition it sucks.

  • @eklipsegirl Maybe you should educate yourself more on the ED64 before commenting. ED64 has FlashRAM support (has had it since second firmware update), it has exact same compatibility as 64drive, multi-region support, and has had quite a few updates already. Interface is personal preference I guess, they both work, but one is more shiny. One important fact you forgot to mention. ED64 is much more affordable.
