Volume 13 of the Brazilian fighter series brings you MMA pioneer Mario Sperry; A veteran of Cage Rage and the Pride Fighting championships he holds an MMA record of 13-4-0. A black belt in Jiu Jitsu he gained major success in Mundials and ADCC. Not only a successful fighter but as a coach being a founder of the famed Brazilian Top Team, he coached the likes of Paulo Filho, Ricardo Arona, and the Nogueira brothers. Mario Sperry is a true legend of Brazilian MMA.

Ze mario sperry true pioneer of modern mma, without him we wouldnt have so many top brazilian fighters in mma. + marios probabaly one of the most under-rated but best fighters to ever live. BIG RSPECT for MARIO Osssss.

Sperry could have been an MMA champion had he worked harder on his standup. His Jui Jitsu was top notch. He had very exceptional balance, agility, and power. Sperry is of the only 2 guys to ever submit Igor Vovchanchyn (who has nearly 70 MMA fights). His instructional vids are helpful too.

@judgerofwars i dont know. i saw their first fight. ninja caught him with a strong punch and mario went down. he wasn't the same fighter after that punch but he kept fighting. ninja won a decision.
