WestinghouseTraction Elevator Macys Monroeville Mall, Monroeville, Pa retake

he flooring was replaced and the hall buttons are replaced, the second floor was painted, everything else is the same. I have so many retakes of this. Paul Stewart installed this elevator in 1969 with westinghouse, its a traction so I dont want to hear about hydraulic again.

there is something out there called a ropoed hydrolic. that is where there is a hydrolic plunger with a wheel on top of it and then there are cables that run on the wheel that one end is connected to the elevator and another end is connected to the ground. then the elevator goes up 2 times faster than what a hydro really goes. just to let you know that there is no such thing as 105 feet per mnute. it is most likely 100 feet per minute but it goes really slow unless the floors are really tall.

@elevator1tom this is a traction elevator, I know the guy who installed it, and the motor sound is also traction, the door operator is buzzing so that can make it sound like a hydro motor on camera, it sounds little different in person. also I dont think there was roped hydro in 1969

are you sure this is not a hydro because if it was a traction you will not hear the motor and tractions do not go that slow

@elevator1tom its traction because it makes the same motor sound going up as it does down, also you can shine a light in the shaft on the third floor and see the cables, I also know the guy that installed it, and they can go slow, its 105 FPM

Hey Patrick its elevator3322 on a different profile that i made dont film that elevator again i filmed that elevator and they called security and they were mad they thretened us so dont film there again

@elevatoralarm3322 I am discrete when filming and make sure no one is around, so I dont get in trouble. only place I was busted was boscovs and the man didnt care
