2009-08-15 Irving, Texas, PD DWI Unit Takes 'em Down

Down the street from my house it was just another Saturday night. We heard the loudspeaker blaring "Pull over NOW!" So, I walked down by Whataburger. I stayed a long ways away ... the telephoto works quite well, even in the dark. As I turned away, the white officer yelled at me to wait. So, I hung on while he trotted my way. He wasn't polite. At one point he said "Do you always wander around with no shirt on?" I told him I was quite impressed by how he was not only a peace officer, but an excellent fashion critic as well. He said policemen don't like having their pictures taken. I tried to explain I was on HIS side; but he's under 30 and insecure, i guess. As he walked away, he turned and said, "You're not going to put this up on YouTube or anything or you." Wouldn't think of it, Sir!!
