Yeah. I stopped watching too after she lost. The show lost all it's credibility with me at that point.

There is a level of talent to sophisticated for the Idol. The elimination of Pia proved that yet again. If you hear Melinda and you are not moved, you are not human. She sings with a purity that only a kind decent person can deliver. She really feels it, she really means it.

i think she owned this song, much better actually the withney houston(however she is still god, but the crack messed up her voice)

Her voice is so pure. She reminds me of Karen Carpenter and the early years of Whitney Houston. Too bad she didn't win, which I think she should have.

i believe that it was intended that she said Johnson since they laughed when the governor said the wrong surname.

Um, don't people hear the whole thing? The governor mistakenly said "Randy Johnson" which was why Melinda laughed and then copied him and said Johnson as well.
