how much is that 72oz steak?

Their steaks Suck ! Save your $ My last two experiences were horrible. Tried it again today 5-05-11 and my steaks are 10X better and a helluva lot less expensive.

I ordered the 24 oz SO CALLED RIB EYE.
They don't serve rib eye there, it's Sirloin. Toughest MEAT I have ever attempted to eat, stiff. I spit out 1/2 of it.
Don't fall for the FAKE HYPE, I can get a better steak at ANY local grocery store.

Sounds amazing for one family!

I tried it last year (June) and ate 58oz and gave up not wanting to make myself sick for the next few days on my Road Trip along Route 66 but .....
I intend going back in June this year to try it again which considering I'm from Sheffield, England is a bit of a trek!

@gangsterpelon13 well, git yourself on up here and they'll feed ya some red meat. But it appears you've already knocked out that twelve pack, so save plenty 'O room for steak and tators.

So, The Big Texan Steak Ranch let you down? You need to drive south from there about 11 miles to the Claude highway and checkout The Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon. The party traveling with you might think you've brought them to a dive... but the steaks ARE fabulous. Search The Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon on Switchboard. com Good luck on your steak hunt.

What's so much fun about seeing the comments come in is the incredible contrast that we've seen. "GREAT FOOD!!" "Their steaks Suck!" " the Prime Rib was EXCELLANT!" " Cuts of steak were low quality, potato wasn't even cooked all the
way" All I know is that I'll never argue with an experience someone has had at
any restaurant. I received no pay to post this video or the tip on another great "little" steakhouse in the next post.

My son actually tried the 72 ouncer... he got about 44 ounces of it. I think it was more for the experience and his "going away" party than the challenge of conquering the steak. Oh, BTW, don't be so descriptive with your comments or they might not make the cut. hahahahaha
