For my MIDI 1 class at Ex'pression College for Digital Arts, we had to select a trailer or clip from a video game of our choice, and completely recreate the sound, music, and dialogue ourselves. The clip needed to be 3 minutes in length. We had to compose original music, record our own dialogue, and record sounds or sample them from a sound FX database.
For my project, I selected the introduction, and trailer, for Tim Schafer's 1998 adventure game Grim Fandango. I hope you enjoy the results. For a higher quality version, please visit the video on Vimeo here: http://www.vimeo.com/8776108
