Day Sixteen: "Post Traumatic Stress Disorder"

Most mind blowing Cristina & Owen episode to date!!!ever? Owen falls asleep in Cristina's bed. Cristina awakes to Owen strangling her, in a PTSD induced night terror. Callie hears noises coming from Cristina's room and saves Cristina's life. Cristina goes to work after being strangled. She and all her fellow residents are frightened as Izzie prepares for brain surgery to cut out a cancerous tumour. Derek has returned to Seattle Grace to perform the surgery. Owen has another "freezing moment" after a helicopter arrives at Seattle Grace with a trauma patient. Derek encourages Owen to seek help for PTSD. Derek performs surgery on Izzie. Cristina and Owen make love for the first time. Cristina breaks up with Owen, after telling him she is "afraid to fall asleep" next to him.

Why did I finish this one so much faster than usual? First, because Owen strangled Cristina, then they made love, then they broke up and then I lost my mind. Second, because I am not working Friday and Cristina and Owen made me lose my mind. I should have gone to bed; but I didn't. I have never edited so fast, listened to so much music at the same time, done near anything so fast. My brain is on fire. I hope it turned out well. Now that I have gotten all those Cristina & Owen thoughts out of my brain, through the keyboard, now I can sleep.

OMG this was the BEST GA episode I've ever seen. I honestly can't remember looking forward to watching a love story on a show like this before. Thanks so much for putting together these wonderful clips - IMHO- the best compilation. When you watch them together it's like watching the most satisfying romantic movie ever made. Okay, so was anybody else kind of pissed with meredith? B/c yeah, Owen almost strangled Christina, but he has PTSD and that's a serious disorder. And I dont think its ugly at all that Christina hugged him. It showed compassion and love

you have to love how cristina has grown. she was always scared of losing people and dealing with the tough stuff with burke but with owen she refuses to walk away. *gah* love them
