@2GUNBOY Nope. They still carry the old EMD F9 engine, but have been massively overhauled and brought up to date with the latest technology.

@franklinterrier Actually it is. I have the seen the Barnum & Bailey train led by 2 F7As and 2 F7Bs in ABBA configuration.

In April, A NS passenger train with these engines comes to Augusta, GA out of Altoona, PA carrying fans of The Masters Golf Tournament.

I was able to get my shots due to being part of yahoo group, ALRAILS, and watching posts every day. I know there is also a southeast rails and probably groups for every area. It's a great way to meet new railfans and find out about special movements!

I think they were rebuilt with GP38-2 engines.

I don't know. It extends from Powell to Manassas Park until like 7 a.m.
