Sukhwinder Singh Feat. Sapna Awasti - Chaiyya Chayyia

Chaiyya Chaiyya is the first song in the famous Hindi film (Dil Se) which was Released in 1998. The song was composed by film composer A.R. Rahman, written by Gulzar, and sung by Sukhwinder Singh which he won the Best Male Playback Award at the 1999 Filmfare Awards on this song. It was originally written in Tamil. The Hindustani version of the song was called Chaiyya Chaiyya , while the Punjabi and Tamil versions were called "Thaiyya Thaiyya". The Music video was filmed on top of the Ooty train the Nilgiri Mountain Railway in mountainous Tamil Nadu, southern India while actor Shahrukh Khan dances with model/actress Malaika Arora. Always the remixes of the song were used in the opening and closing credits of the 2006 film (Inside Man) and on the television show (Smith). and episode 5 of season 5 of (CSI Miami) too.

Hai jis ki zaban Urdu ki tarah mean his/her language is like Urdu

Meeri sham raat meri kainat woh yar mera siyan saiyan mean my evening my night my universe is my friend who is my lover

This translation is litral, as such does not possess the beauty or elegance of the Urdu verse but I try.
