I found out the problem, its the lighting. i turned on the lights and it all worked properly. It was dark before so it didnt read my movement properly.

As i put in description, this is the first ever time i played the game and quite frankly i dnno what the hell im doing. Ive got further since and learnt a lot of new stuff.
