A short video showing the n95 playing megadrive roms on the fantatic picodrive emulator for simbian s60 3rd along with the ingenious mobipad app which allows you to connect a wiimote over bluetooth as a games controller, if you have a wii this is obviously much cheaper than laying out £50+ on a bluetooth gamepad or keyboard.

If you start picodrive with the phone's screen in landscape mode (music player keys showing on the left)
and connect the tv out cable there is not much difference between the phone and a megadrive.
Many thanx to the app writers for their hard work in makng such brilliant apps!

now all i need is the ability for the apps to let me connect two wiimotes and run two player... KickAss!

  • hey man, thats cool!! with the wiimote n' all,, Alittle advice with the bad sound performance,, theres a new version out 1.35 for S60 3rd edition, google it, or you can press C (go into PicoDrives menu) then resume the game, that fixed the sound everytime for me when I had version 0.50

  • Thanks for the comment, I upgraded to 1.35 after getting a replacement n95,

as you said the sound is much better and having more than 1 State save slot is ace, the only prblem I have with 1.35 is unlike the earlier version 1.35 will not run MONACO GP.

    :-(
