Some Desires trivia for you. The Desires first drummer, Mickey Curry, was stolen away after the first album to play with Hall and Oates on a lot of their major hits and then with Bryan Adams on most of his hits. Desires keyboardist Gary Corbett went on to play with Cinderella and Lou Gramm and co-wrote the hit "She-Bop" with Cyndi Lauper. The Desires second drummer, Chuck Sabo, went on to play on Elton John's "Lion King" hits, Natalie Imbruglia's "Torn", and Right Said Fred's "I'm Too Sexy".
Tom Dickie & the Desires reunite for one night - Sat. Sept. 24th at Club Bohemia at the Cantab Lounge in Cambridge, Mass.! All the old hits and some new surprises! Downtown will talk!
For more Tom Dickie songs( with his first band Susan), check out "Susan Really Gonna Show", "Susan Marlene", "Live at the Rat I Don't Want to Know Your Name" and "Live at the Rat Right Away".
Glad I was in Boston during the 1980's. Love this song!!! Saw them live and played it at my DJ gigs as well as college radio show at WMCI/WMCC. Great tune that rocks!!!! Thanks for the post.
