Hey, Ash, great video, and the game hens are a great idea. I might try stuffing them with a rice pilaf. And that's a hell of a table you got there, granite topped, nice. Sometimes I struggle controlling the temps on mine, especially reeling it in. I'm finding that just after lighting coals, you need to shut the lid to stabilize the temps. That heat can get away from ya quick on these things! Great cookers, I wouldn't cook on anything elese.

Hey Ash,
Do you think maybe in future videos you might show how much coal you used and how much you open the air vent to achieve the temperature you want.
Thanks

@PoSeiDoNN91 Good suggestion will try to do that. I always fill the charcoal to the top of the fire box on every cook. In addition each Grill Dome will draft differently, on mine 225 is about 1/8" on the bottom vent and 350 is about 2 fingers or 1 1/4". I try to write that in the script (like I have one). Thanks

Ash, another great video. Good job. When I do my birds I go 90 - 115 minutes at around 325-350F but I have an offset. Looking at a GrillDome if my experimental cooker doesn't work out!

Thanks, I used to have an offset when I was cooking allot of hogs and chickens but downsized. The Grill Dome (kamado cooker) cooks everything near perfect every time. Think you would like it for cooks of up to 12 folks.
