I LOVE IT WHEN FAITH HILL SINGS THE HYMNS ACAPELLA ITS SO PEACEFUL AND MOVING YOU JUST FEEL THE ANOINTING OF GOD ALL OVER IT!! YOU CAN REALLY TELL SHE WAS MEANT TO USE THAT BEAUTIFUL INSTRUMENT FOR CHRISTIAN MUSIC.

She has an amazing voice, but does she not realize that she is singing the lyrics to the first verse totally wrong. It should be "The Lamb is the light", not Lamp, and "The night, night is as black as the sea" not light as the sea.

@wildcajunthang It's not just country artists. I've been at many a concert where a secular artist took the audience to church. I agree, it's more common on the country and R&B/Soul genres, but it's been done. I love when artists hit us w sacred music during their gigs. I love Faith, Carrie Underwood, Wynonna....they seem to have no issues throwing a church tune in there from time to time and it warms my soul!

@nailswood That's so funny because I think, out of all the country divas, she's the best interpreter of lyrics. Such a tremendous voice but she's a great emoter too!
