2 Timothy 2: 15
"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth".

The only place in the entire Bible that tells you to "study" God's word...why is it removed in the NIV?

Because if you DID study your Bible you would undoubtedly see how much the International Bible Society and the NIV "translators" eviscerated the Word of God.

But the Word says:

Matthew4: 4
"...It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God"

Personally, if I am to live for God, then I need an "every word" Bible. I need God's words EXACTLY how He spoke them. He put "every word" there for a reason did He not?

Why HAS there been over 200 different Bible "translations" in the past 30 years?
‐Because the 1611 KJB had too many "archaic" and "hard to understand" words?
‐Because newer and better manuscripts have been discovered since the completion of the KJB?
‐Because these other versions are "more accurate" than the KJB?
ALL of these reasons are FALSE!

Some will tell you "If you are interested in serious study of the Bible, including grammar and vocabulary, you will want an ESV, NKJV, or the NASV. However, it is always good to compare several translations, especially for passages that are difficult to understand. If one wishes to read the Bible in large blocks, you probably will prefer one of the freer translations such as the NIV, NLT, or CEV".

Proverbs 30: 5‐6
"Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar."

Let me assure you that if one changes words in the Bible, you are changing the meaning of these words, and by changing the meaning of words, one has CHANGED THE WORD OF GOD.

Why does the NIV cast Jesus out of Heaven?

Isaiah 14: 12 (KJB)
"How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which dist weaken the nations!"

Compared to:
Isaiah 14: 12 (NIV)
"How have you fallen from heaven, O morning star son of the dawn! ..."

This is a MAJOR change. Jesus, in his own words said that He was the morning star in the book of Revelation:

Revelation 22:16
"I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star".

Jeremiah 23:36
"And the burden of the Lord shall ye mention no more: for every man's word shall be his burden; for ye have perverted the words of the living God, of the Lord of hosts our God."

I have come to the conclusion that just as Satan attacked God's word in the Garden of Eden [Genesis 3:1], as also when he tempted Jesus on the mountaintop [Matthew 4:1‐10], TODAY in present day there is an attack on God's word yet again. Satan tempted Eve, then Jesus Christ(God manifest in the flesh), now he tempts OUR flesh and the Holy Spirit that dwells in us trying to convince us that there are other ways to everlasting life other than Jesus Christ [John 4:16].

It seems as if history is repeating itself yet again. Just as the false prophets of Jeremiah's time were taking God's word frivolously, false prophets of today are promoting false bibles and get paid money for it.

Satan is using all these modern bible translations to confound people because he knows that people won't memorize a bible that keeps on changing. The prophets, apostles, the patriarchs of old, and even Jesus Christ himself held such a high regard and reverence for the word of God...shouldn't we adopt the same attitude?

Psalm 138:2

"...for thou hast magnified my word above all thy name"

The only reason that these points were brought up is because we have a high regard for God's word and we can't keep quiet when it is being tampered with.

Psalm 11:3
"If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?"

John 8:32
"And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

Mark 7:16
"If any man have ears to her, let him hear."

Romans16:24
"The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.

  • "You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you." Deuteronomy 4:2

Whatever I command you, be careful to observe it; you shall not add to it nor take away from it." Deuteronomy 12:32

"Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him.

Do not add to His words, lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar." Proverbs 30:5-6

  • @marsxpander I am glad I burned a NIV book that perverts the deity of Jesus Christ! perverts the virgin birth! perverts John 3:16 into a LIE! robs Jesus Christ of worship! perverts Jesus Christ into Lucifer! removes and perverts the place of hell! perverts The Lord's Prayer into The Devil's Prayer! The NIV completely "TAKETH AWAY" 17 verses! 64,576 words!

  • I burned our 2 NIV's books(some call bibles) in the house and bought 2 new KJV Bibles

  • You know that the NIV is based on older manuscripts than the King James version...

  • People can learn about God's Salvation in every version out there. I find it funny that people want to burn all Bibles that are not kjv. When the kjv first came out, people were burning it! And refused to read it in their churches. As time passed, it eventually caught on. And the kjv that people have today isn't even the "real" 1611. It is the revised one done in the 1700's. People can be led to Christ through all versions. If you burn them, remember, you will have to answer to God one day.

  • FYI: I'm not too fond of the NIV bible and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. However, Mark 1:2-3 is found in the Prophet Isaiah and Malachi both.

    Isaiah 40:3-4 (NKJV) 3 The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “ Prepare the way of the LORD; Make straight in the desert[a] A highway for our God. 4 Every valley shall be exalted And every mountain and hill brought low; The crooked places shall be made straight  And the rough places smooth;
