Hmm. We can all buy the spin and the fairy tales... If you are calling this pathetic, isn't it a bit pathetic to be retracing all the dreams of "what could have been"?

Why don't you try imagining yourselves pouting in front of the world and the President and First Lady of Korea then get back to me? Prince Charles himself wasn't innocent, I'll grant you that, but neither was Diana w/ her affairs with Hewitt. But at least Charles still kept himself composed and professional.

@freshsprout-What? If Diana had stayed "composed and professional" she and Charles would still have been chained together in a miserable marriage. Diana's 'pouting' and other 'undignified' behaviors led to the divorce, which is why Camilla and Charles can now openly live their lives together.

Diana did everyone a favor by refusing to take this bullshit anymore. Charles was prepared to live the rest of his life as a sham, Diana was not. Who do you think deserves respect?

Wow, it is true what they said about her misery during this trip. It is so plain to see on her face, at every instant. I never saw this clip before. You can almost hear what she is thinking. You can see how exhausted she is even though she is radiantly beautiful at the same time, as always.

@freshsprout WRONG. She was extremely polite to everyone, even the annoying press. Do you have no compassion for others? She was exhausted from fighting off her battle with bulimia, while at the same time she was having marital problems with Charles. Also, Charles was the first one to cheat on her with Camilla, and after only a few years into their marriage he refused to have intimacy with Diana at all.

@freshsprout she was a person not a robot. Her marriage was a disaster and she just lost her father. Heaven forbid the woman should feel upset. This constant blaming on Diana for everything wrong with the monarchy is old and pathetic. Charles equally damaged the monarchy and his mistakes are worse since he's the future king and will one day be head of the Church of England. I will always love Diana. She was the only member of that family that actually seemed human and relatable.

@stevenross - Totally agree. If the Monarchy is a family privileged of the British people's taxes, she is supposed to be doing her duties... and not sulking like a little girl. As beautiful as she is, this showing is beyond absurd. People have problems, but this is just making an embarrassment of herself at the end. I feel more sorry for the monarchy than for her. And I used to love Diana.

@stevenross100 So was Charles. He's the reason why she was so upset in the first place. Diana was the perfect example of how being royalty is not what disney makes it out to be. The British family used her, chewed her up, and spit her out like she was nothing.

@sherriaris One should not bring emotions to the workplace. She was at work, she diminished the dignity of the Monarchy & her own standing by this piece of media manipulation. Would never be seen with Her Majesty or Her Majesty the late Queen Mother. There's a time and a place. Let us not forget, she was also having an affair at the time, so not quite the angel she wished the public to view her as!
