At the Disneyland Resort, every role is a starring role. Cast members who work in Cast Costuming are responsible for maintaining more than 800 different costumes for the Disneyland Resort. Each costume supports storytelling that takes place in different lands, attractions, restaurant and other locations throughout the Resort.

  • I love 'Every Role A Staring Role'! I hope it's not just me in thinking a Disney job is the greatest job on the planet. I just want to run away and work at a Disney park.

    Cheers.

  • "I have the ability to make or break my cast members day. I choose to make it." that was hardcore O.O

  • I had a coworker that worked in Disneyland at the same time. He got to be Prince Charming, and Pluto, and some of the other charactors.

  • Oh my gosh! That's DEBI?!?!?! She's changed a lot since I knew her in my Costuming (aka "wardrobe") days!

At Disneyland, wardrobe people used to get your costume for you, but the lines were long. This system is faster but puts the onerous on the CM to get his own costume and it cut the # of wardrobe people needed, though "backline" is horrific!

I will say this: Used to be that Wardrobe was an elite position. You either xfered in, knew someone, or got lucky. Times changed.

  • this is hilarious. i have never in 3 years seen a cheerful costuming cast member.

  • wait so do they get to take their costumes home? or do they have to go there every single day?

  • i use to work at Disneyland Paris...no way you could get your own costume from the racks...this was done for you.

great respect for the costuming workers!!!

  • i wanna work at disneyland

  • @TheDISNEY365 It can be confusing and just like at the mall, one size in one costume doesn't mean that you need the same size in another... Trial and error! ;-)

  • Oh my, I used to work in costuming back in 06'..it was my 1st job...what i am still amazed is the people who are still there. The job was not difficult at all...it was all memory. I guess somethings will never change. Sign*
