Goku should have either been Japanese or Chinese. Both would've fit.
If he was Chinese, it would make complete sense, given that Akira Toriyama based it off of his interest in China.
And if he was Japanese, it would still make complete sense, because it's a fucking manga!
I swear, the movie is the worst live adaptation that Dragonball, could've gotten.
