  • @como651 no they catch it to absorb some force this workout is also effective for those training in MMA. It can be done on your own but is recommended to be done with a partner for safety reasons such as most workouts describe

  • Are you letting the ball hit you full force or are you catching it partially to absorb some of the impact? Can this be done without a partner?

  • I used to do this in training when I used to be a boxer.. The technique does help toughen up Ur abs for even the hardest body shots. You do have to start at a comfortable level yet a bit challenging. Stomach shots to Ur body will make u bring Ur hands down that are protecting Ur face so this helps to male sure that doesn't happen much.
