BBC1 Closedown Mock - Saturday 5th September 1981

It'll be so anarchic to recreate it than 30 years ago in 2 months time. That it was the first major glimpse of the final mechanical globe that BBC1 could have ever done with the stripy logo that was used on BBC 1 captions in the late 70's during school and non-programmes. Well it was grainy yellow on the first two days of its globe, then it had re-stored to green on that Monday. Well the testcard noise does make an appearence at the very end of this clip, this was the very first BBC1 closedown with the stripy logo.
