Though I don't disagree with much of what you said "brightstarone"... We must take a measured approached to calling for harm as a generality....The number of police officers actually committing crimes is extremely small. No need to generalize

Who do we call when the police are harming us & behaving unlawfully. Who protects us from the criminals that hide behind badges?
That poor girl was a non-violent young person that liked to get high sometimes w/her friends just like tens of millions of Americans. She was not a threat to her fellow citizens, she was used and discarded like a peice of trash, That shitty excuse for a police chief was responsible for her murder then he assaainated her character and memory.

in hindsight we should have use d the pre set procedures!!!! This equivocation and then add to that the implications, again equivocal, about often using drug dealers who they catch as grasses when they volunteer. This man and his team need to be fired at the least and in justice prosecuted. Why is the interviewer going so easy on him? Giving this " it is not unusual ..." rubbish is an attack on Rachel ... but it is a fact so they can slither out of it.

What rubbish. The courts and police should not put people charged with a possession of a minor drug be misused to by not only drugs but a gun. How can this degenerate talk about hindsight ,a low IQ person who was drunk would have the foresight to know this was absurd. The way this police spokespersons view and prevarication in his answers is a disgrace and transparent. How they not only could do this to an innocent young girl with a good future ahead,and put a moron on to talk for the law..

the cops should burn in hell! they knew when they sent her out there she was in real damger!Maybe one day one of there kids will face the same situation... just wont get killed...not that I wish that on any parent...sometimes you have to walk in the victims shoes to realize the truth! RIP Rachel you will NOT be forgoten!

that stupid police chief what a lying sack of shit. he said we dont theaten people to do sting ops . my ass i have been arested for similar chages as here in miami and had them tell me if i would buy coke. i disagreed and the charges where dropped. but they threatened me with men raping me in a prison and one Pig even smacked me with a phone book and didnt allow me to eat or drink for 28 hours. fuck the police fuck all of them i hope that pig has his family killed so he can feel the pain.
