NATO offer to Russia: 'American double-speak'

NATO's poised for a crucial summit in Lisbon this weekend to map out missile defence, it's strategy in Afghanistan and the entire role of the Alliance. The Presidents of Russia and the US will meet there. Russia's envoy to NATO says while Moscow and the Alliance are moving closer on some issues, common ground on non-proliferation and missile defence in Europe still needs work. Diana Johnstone - a political writer, says she is skeptical about the chances of NATO and Russia co-operating successfully in the future, especially in areas such as missile defence.

Im not so sure its going to live so much longer in its current state.. Perhaps a smaller, broken up USA, with perhaps, 3 - 4 new countries will "long live" but the USA as it is today? Nah, the disintegration is written in stone. Just need to use the US military bit more to gain banker oligarch footholds in the previously hostile lands where the international bankers would not DARE tread, IE, Libya, Iraq, Iran, Sudan, Somalia, Egypt, Tunisia, ETC.
