@Enos666 you can hide things like satallites in the options of your assets window

are there any collapsable tabs to keep certain ships and satellites you own in the background for then you press 'R' in X3AP?
It was my only real gripe with x3tc which soured my experience somewhat... still a great game.

Did you ever mention the awesomeness of Military Transports? The OTAS one costs about 900 000 credits (base price is 450k, but that's not with all the shields etc). The cool thing about them is they can carry 4 fighters and are quite affordable early on.

How do you fix the sound problems in this game?
Mine is in mono.
Fucking awful sound implementation in this game.
Feel like deleting it from the harddrive.

First, make sure your drivers are up to date starting with your O.S., then your sound card, and also your video card. You don't really have many sound options in X3 - just double check "options > sound." Mine sounds fine.
