@Arenja Me, being lucky living in California live close to a store called Japan Video Games which is about a mile away from where I live. They also have an online website too that have real good deals. This game doesn't require you to read japanese because it is very easy to assume what everything is if you have played the original KH2 or any other KH game. I can't read, write or speak japanese either. All I had was common sense and alittle luck :)

No, her name is Tina. Terra is the name outside of Japan because of Ted Woolsey, who changed it in translation. Look it up if you don't believe me, I know I'm right.
I'm not trying to be deep, I'm pointing out why they used the name Terra in KH. What a childish attempt to be hardcore. O_o
The reason they don't use older FF characters is because they were designed by Amano- they have to get permission to use them. FF7+ characters however are designed by Nomura, KH's director.

Terra in FF6 was originally named Tina, "Terra" was created by the English translator Ted Woolsey.
Terra also translates as "earth" in latin, which is why it is being used in Kingdom Hearts.
Terra and Riku - Earth
Ventus and Sora - Sky
Aqua and Kairi - Sea
