These birds are showing up in my park often during last couple of days. This is the smallest one, others were nearly twice that size.

Would you help me finding out what species are they?

  • It is a Hawk Owl, I very rare species of owl that isn't nocturnal and lives in Northern Canada, pretty cool bird.

  • That's an identifiable object, perched on a tree branch, otherwise known as a Peach Breasted Chicken Hawk.
