This is a review of the Wildgame Innovations s1.3 Digital Game Scouting Camera. I feel it was a great purchase at under $50. It is the first trail camera I have purchased so I did not go for the one with all the bells and whistles, just the basic one. I was surprised at the quality of the pictures for it only being 1.3 megapixels.

  • Does this take video or not? The website said no but the camera itself has a "movie" feature and the booklet says something like " movie feature only works during the daytime" someone please respond.

  • @Y0B0YCHRIS I could be mistaken, but I do not believe this model has the "movie" feature. It may be available on newer versions of this camera but not on the one in this video.

  • Respond to this video... @ Faststyle....Of course my comment gets deleted because of honest reviews of WI products. I actually own these camers and have or a couple of years. In fact im staring at them on my dresser as I type. They are crap and a waste of money! Seriously call WI and see who or better yet what you get on the other end after holding forever. I would go with Moultrie or the like. Right now Moultrie on their website has the I-35 Buy One Get One under internet specials.

  • @jasonsupafly Thank you for watching and commenting. I really appreciate your opinion, and experiance with these cameras. The reason your comment was deleted was due to the language you used in it. When I use this camera, it is only left out one or 2 nights at a time then I move it and if needed change the batteries, swap out the SD card, and recharge the batteries I took out. Thank you for the tip on the Moultrie cameras, I have been looking to upgrade to one with the IR flash.

  • @MBlackford100 ...Exactly. Trail cams are made to be left outside. You shouldnt have to only leave them out a day or two at the time. Get a quality brand and you will throw that junk away. I guess leaving it outside would be a concern taking its a 39.00 @ retail camera. You get what you pay for. Seriously if yours works then you got one of few that do. I know noone who has bought this brand of anything and it has worked out of the box.

  • @jasonsupafly The one I have works well and for that I am greatful. It spends a lot of time outside, I just move it frequently, changing the batteries (if needed) & SD card when I do. It is the first trail cam I bought and was bought based on the price so I could play around with it and decide if I wanted to invest in a better camera. Since you get what you pay for, I did not set my expectations very high when I bought it which could be why I was pleased that it worked as well as it does.

  • @MBlackford100 ........10-4 !

  • @fastystyle Trail cameras are a good example of you "get what you pay for". That is not to say that the cheaper cameras are all bad. This camera, for example, does not have a long battery life but that can be compensated for by using rechargable batteries, and was bought to cover those last minute placements and for that it works great. With the higher end cameras you can record video, they have higher resolution, IR flash (does not spook the game), on camera play back, and cost $100 + more.

  • @jasonsupafly

what game cam would you suggest. I am going to get one for the deer hunt in a couple of weeks
