Forget the video part, you'll like the sound of this Debbie Friedman piece sung by the Grace Notes

  • RIP, Debbie Freidman. Thank you for reconnecting me with my Judaism.

  • @Babspace I was sorry to hear of Debbie's passing in your post today. Her songs, which sparked Judaic renewal, transcended Judaism. We played them in a Presbyterian Church. She will be missed.

  • We sang this song at Camp Ramah when I was a camper there (and they probably still do). I never used a set clapping pattern...in the end I would bang on tables in a style that suggested Dave Grohl in his Nirvana days. :)

  • This is amazing!

  • Probably so. We've sorta given up on Debbie's clapping pattern from her concert at Carnegie Hall album. It's a good song, though. When we recorded this there were some people standing in front of the camera; not much we could do about that. Thanks for your comment!
