Here I am using a .010" engraving bit to engrave into some wood. This is my 80/20 cncrouterparts.com machine. Using Mach3 (licensed) to drive, CamBam(trial still) and Google Sketchup.

  • How is this design holding up? I am currently making my z-axis using the cncrouterparts design.

  • @WingChunLover2 It is holding up well. My plans for the future are to enlarge it, add dust control and add some kind of work control (vacuum bed or something).

  • Did you drill thru the 8020 to mount the steel rails, or just use 5/16" carriage bolts in the t-slots? I have been told to use the t-slots, but I really worry the steel will just slip one day. Thanks.
