Here I am using a .010" engraving bit to engrave into some wood. This is my 80/20 cncrouterparts.com machine. Using Mach3 (licensed) to drive, CamBam(trial still) and Google Sketchup.
@WingChunLover2 It is holding up well. My plans for the future are to enlarge it, add dust control and add some kind of work control (vacuum bed or something).
Did you drill thru the 8020 to mount the steel rails, or just use 5/16" carriage bolts in the t-slots? I have been told to use the t-slots, but I really worry the steel will just slip one day. Thanks.
How is this design holding up? I am currently making my z-axis using the cncrouterparts design.
