I seriously doubt that anybody could figure this one out. There is no substitution of rings, no stooges or plants! The method is truly brilliant! I performed this many times in my own shows, and people absolutely LOVE it!!

Even though i havent gotten this, nor know really how to do this, i think i know how. You have a simple gimmicked pants pocket along with gimmicked shoelackes. He let's the ring fall in his right hand, and it doesnt go into his left... so when he gets his magic marker, it falls down his pants and onto the gimmicked shoelace, tied on simply by gaff. His movements and talking distract the audience from the ring under his pants, and the pants trim is low to hide the gimmicked shoelace.
