  • Thank you so much. This song always reminds me of my friend Margaret who couldn't be lesbian AND Catholic inside herself, and killed her beautiful self, back when this song was huge. :(

  • You're very welcome. Blessings on Margaret! This ones for her!

  • Bless you from the full of my heart for posting this classic!

  • You're very welcome. I just wish I had been more prepared with lighting, tripod and such.. but.. for last minute hand held from my seat, I was thrilled with the ability to have it out there for women like yourself, who's soul will resonate with this song!

  • Cris saved my life. The Changer and the Changed - The album I would choose if I could have only one. Bless you Cris

  • The more I listen to this one the more I Love It. Written by Margie Adam and I will be uploading her singing it very soon. They both sing this with like no one else ever could.

  • Hi Lucky..... Your Mother is very blessed to have a child that understands her emotions and allows her the dignity that she deserves. You are a blessing, not just to your Mother....but, to all of us. Open hearts, and gentle souls will help to heal the generations of intolerance that has hurt, so many incredible people in the LGBTQ community.

Bless you Lucky, and may God keep you well.

"Tender Lady"... an awesome, and glorious declaration of our humanity.

  • I just wanted to let you know my mom is gay and she was hurting so bad when she first came out. Noone was there for her and the sadness filled her so deeply. She finally found comfort with this same song and she embrassed it and life with a whole new out look. I am proud of my mother and I love her deeply. I might not be gay but I am very proud of it. Their is so much love and peice when i listen to her music. Thank you for bieng ;you

  • "The Tender Lady", what memories. Coming out as a young and insecure lesbian , afraid to be myself, I found this song a soul strengthening experience. To this day, the words mean so much...... I love and live a life of truth in 2008 because of the "sisterhood" this music brought to me years ago....when shame and fear ruled womens lives...the truth is a gift, Thank You.

  • Thank you for putting this site up, what a wonderful job!!! I have been with these wym since Oliva...they gave me so very much and I will always love them for what they did.

  • Fantastic, as ever. I'd love to see some Meg Christian too.

  • Indeed...thanks! Too many years have gone by since listening to Cris W. I wished there were a video of Margie Adams...that would be full circle for some good years.
