Ben on "The illusion of conscious will" (part 1 of 2)

Ben Smith (RSS member, postgrad psych student at the UoA, and now AUSA international affairs officer) gives a talk about neuroscience and free will, focussing on a book by Harvard psychologist Daniel M. Wegner titled "The illusion of conscious will" (summarized in the journal Behavioural and Brain Sciences (2004) 27: 649-659 ). The meeting took place on Monday 18 October, 2010.
