I'm Muslim and I was raised around farm animals. Pigs given the choice will not shit where they eat and will bathe in clean water instead of mud. Most animals except birds will if they have the choice. Mankind treats animals like shit and cages them in and lets them shit where they eat and sleep....I don't eat pork because the Qur'an says " don't eat pork" it never says in it that pigs are the worst of filthy creatures...actually chicken is waaaaaaay dirtier than a pig. So Akhi, argue rightly.

@ArmEdR0bbErY actually "don't eat pork" mean that pork have a dangerous tape worm that can live inside human ... human is almost same type host to pig ... the worm can live years inside the body ... if a muslim touch pork they can tanning ...

@ArmEdR0bbErY Qu'ran says don't eat pork because pig was considered a dirty creature back then. A lot of the "laws" in various religious scriptures were motivated by circumstances of the time. The bible has a lot to say about mold, for example. Namely, if you find mold in your house, burn the whole damn thing down to stop it spreading. Today of course, we have technology to process pigs, to get rid of mold, so "don't eat pork" makes no flippin' sense anymore.

It's because of their cloven hooves, that's the reason muslims are not permitted to eat them. That's the issue with a lot of other animals too.
