You must be kidding me? Alexander, first you call the city cold. Then you blame 9-11 on our airport. And then you act like Emerson is a self-centered school of brats who walk by misfortune while whining for themselves and casting blame on the city that they suck off of. Oh, wait! You're right on that last one. I'm glad you're paying attention, but what have you DONE?

Anger issues? I think so. Please get yourself some help. I also understand by the last part of your statement that you assume I have not done anything to help. If that is the case, you should be careful what you assume about somebody you don't know. Just remember, hating doesn't help anything, so you should maybe take a step back and think about what YOU are contributing to this world.

I would point you to my original message. You're projecting the anger YOU feel at NOT impressing someone who actually works in the trenches. What have you done? You cannot answer that, but you call this a "project." My email invitation stands. Help out at the MA Coalition for the Homeless. Start an Emerson alliance. I'll be sure to hear of it when it starts. I never got an email invitation. Also, I understand that you are passionate about this, but I hope you realize that I did not hurt anybody with this, and that it shown in the spirit of making my peers aware of what was around them.

Thank you everyone who has responded so well to this project. It was my intention to let my schoolmates know that there is another reality out there besides the very isolated one they live in as college students, but I am glad that it has been able to resonate with people from all walks of life. Show as many people this video as you can, so that maybe it can have a good effect on them and some positive change can occur as a result of this project.

While it's certainly awesome and really productive to "go out and do something" about homelessness in Boston, I also think that putting your own little documentary or video to raise awareness about homelesness in the city is a good way to start making change. People have to first be aware of these lived realities before they can be prompted to go out into the community and do hands-on help.
